Did Heath Ledger die of an accidental overdose of sleeping tablets?
Among the many pills found near the actor's body was the drug Ambien. Last week, Hollywood star Jack Nicholson said he'd warned Ledger against the sleeping pill.
"I tell people about Ambien. Somebody said: 'Take this, it's mild.' I almost drove off a cliff 50 yards from my house."
At the moment there is no evidence that Ambien played a part in Ledger's death. However, the drug has been linked with other bizarre and terrifying experiences.
Patients have reported waking up next morning with sweet wrappers in bed, kitchen worktops covered with flour and even the gas ring burning, yet with no memory of having got out of bed.
One woman gained more than 3st over seven months - she'd been sleepwalking to the fridge. Another woke up to find herself painting the front door.
Even more peculiar are the reports of "sleepdriving." There have been cases of people taking the pill then waking up in police custody wearing just their pyjamas.

Hmmm. Well, it is the Daily Mail, so bound to be sensationalist.
A class 'C' drug (UK) used recreationally as well as prescribed by health professionals. Really makes you wonder the wisdom of administering drugs to solve the symptoms rather than treating the problem itself, which seems to be the prevailing medical paradigm.
