Survey had 2/3rd of iPad owners reading books. Of those who read books, 50% bought kindle books, more than the 42% that bought apple books.

7 million iPads sold in the first six months. 2/3 of that is over 4 million folks reading on iPads. Have of that gives you over 2 million folks reading kindle books on iPads.

Of course, the 7 million number is now 2 months old. The number is likely over 9million iPad owners and 3 million of this are reading kindle books.
