Oh my, here we go again. This pops up every six months or so.
Calibre is a wonderful and free piece of greatness.
If you don't like the way it works, go build your own.
Make suggestions to the Calibre project if you like, but don't expect whole-scale changes because it works just fine the way it is and doesn't cost a penny!
