Hi,
As long as you have done what that plugin README says about adding the adeptkey.der on your netbook, all should work. If not, You should report it on the Apprentice Alf blog and someone can walk you through how to debug why it is not working.
In fact, at the end of the plugin readme is info on how to get an error report that might help.
