@gwen: I have always hoped for a way to use the Kindle annotations as an indicator for whether a book was read or not. So far not possible it appears.
@Kovid: when fetching annotations Calibre says that data is "merged" into the database. I KNOW it says "experimental" in the menu, but ... XX% read in the DB converted into a "read" column ?
Too "Kindly", too hard to do, too .... I know submit a ticket/request.
IS it possible without breaking anything vital ?
I DON'T understand much of the internal workings of Calibre !
But .. "Santa" - my wish for Christmas is ..... please let us use the annotations for custom columns.
Any ways - EXELENT work from the whole team ! Have NEVER seen anything like your responsiveness, rate of new version, acceptence of new features etc. etc.
Just hoping,
Cheers
