Hi to everyone that has chimed in and extended me a very gracious welcome. After re-reading my initial post I see that I was really quite stoked about my new kindle.
Guess what? I am even more so excited about the device. I found several thousand scifi ebooks available for free. Just needed to install on another computer software to convert the ebooks to kindle format. Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy!
During the day I am software developer and in real life I am an explorer, hacker, astronomer and mentor to youth.
All of that is say that I am very pleased to be welcome in a forum that contains such diverse, knowledgeable and interesting people.
I hope I can become a worthy contributor.
