That stumped me too until I discovered that the actual book was d/l into My documents\My digital editions... or some such location. Look in My documents and see what you find for the epub. That acsm file is just a locator file or something.

Also, I love cabbages is another fine blog to explore for more fun with software dealing with circumvention. Especially in the comments by maelcum when he/she talks about a manual. Better yet, the plug-ins with Calibre make some things even easier.

But figuring out the process can be a bit challenging.
