That was about the same as my reaction to it when I read it a couple of years ago. I liked it - but not enough to continue investing in the author at that particular time.

I'm currently reading Kristine Williams - The Legend of Darkness and Light.

It's a bit formulaic in ways - but such wonderfully harmless fun. It's like Indiana Jones in space.

The book from free at Smashwords and I'm using it as a taster for Kristine Williams other books.

I had just finished Heart-Shaped Box by Joe Hill which I really enjoyed.
