That and, in a lot of ways, the B&N reader is better. It has more font and color options, and the built-in dictionary is pretty nice (could be slightly better). The Kindle application also prevents me from tapping the screen to change page in a handful of my books (I have to tap an empty area of the screen as tapping text brings up the cool word selection).

I also miss Aldiko's feature of displaying progress within the current chapter. However, I find that I actually like the nook way even more: tap goto and check the page number of the next chapter. (Obviously a personal preference, but I guess I still have some holdover feelings from paper books. )

On the other hand, the lack of a page transition is brutal when tapping/swiping to change page.
