I'm starting to find that the white background behind the text is a bit dull compared to the text that I am reading, even with plenty of light around. The comparison chart ( http://koboereader.com/cad/Kobo-ereader-comparisons/) says that all the eReaders have 16 level screens, but is that for the original Kobo too, or just the Wifi? Also, can anyone tell me how the Kobo Wifi screen compares to the others, in terms of background brightness/text clarity?

The 16 level screens are only on the Wifi device. I'm sorry I can't elaborate more on it since I have the original Kobo, but I have heard that it's a drastic difference between the new and the old. Mind you, I have no problem with my Kobo's screen
