Cruel vampires without a teenage girl in sight.
The vampires are serious vampires. They drink their fill and then rip people apart for the pure joy of it.
The Coalition of vampires and humans have kept the slaughter to a minimum. But now things are getting out of hand, and the secret can't be kept from the public much longer.
There are only a few humans who can stand up against the vampires. Each with their own unique abilities. But these are not supper heroes. All they want is to drink their Bolton Bitter beer and be left alone. These four men would have to look up to see the low life dwellers in their little pond.
Sid Tillsley is able to kill vampires with a single blow from his fists. Had the vampires left Sid Tillsley alone after the first few were destroyed the vampires could have taken on the rest of ther world. But mankind are the vampires toys and there was no way that they could not kill Sid before they decimated the rest of mankind.
The story combines serious vampires with crude lowlifes who are too stupid and pugnacious to be afraid of them. As in the first book, this one will have you bursting out in laughter. Even the place in the book where the title comes from will have you laughing even though you know that it's coming.
Although not for children or very young adults because of the descriptive violence and the crude language, I can still highly recommend these books for anyone who wants a good laugh. EDIT - And not easily offended.
Now, where can I find a local pub with Bolton Bitter?
