The google book store is not interesting for me unless I can read the books offline. When I am in the metro or in some holiday resort without wireless internet access the google books are useless and that is where I mainly read books.
That will be the big problem for google books.
P.S.: I am sure that amazon will declare the "kindle browser experiment" as failed if the google book store becomes a threat to their revenue.
