Oh, I never noticed that! You're right, it doesn't work on the sideloaded epubs I got from here. That's silly. As a matter of fact, it doesn't even seem to work on a book I
bought from kobobooks! That's not right. Off to complain...

love my kobo, but it does seem to have a few bugs (like this dictionary one). But they're fixing them, they said.
Or were you asking about the dictionary? Like I said, I don't use it, but then I never use paper dictionaries either. I could see it being useful for learning new words, because it does tell you how to pronounce the word, as well, and that's a good thing (I know, because I'm not a native English speaker either, and I've been laughed at for mispronouncing words that I've learned from books).
