I can't knock comics. They got me interested in reading.

In fact, one of the books I'm reading now is a graphic novel. It's called LOGICOMIX: An Epic Search for Truth. It's about the life and times of Bertrand Russell. Fascinating stuff. A bit easier than Russell's History of Western Civilization, but well worth reading.
