Chris has had genetic hearing loss for..well..ever, I suppose. He finally got hearing aids last year. Now, when he takes them out, he can REALLY tell.

The first week with Chris and new hearing aids was pretty interesting. He would stop short, listen, look at me and say, "has it ALWAYS sounded like that?" He said the first time he put the aids in in the doctor's office, he heard what sounded like the ocean. He asked the doctor about it and the doctor told him that it was only the normal office "hum"...he'd just never been able to hear it before.
