Looks like I waited too long on the Pandigital. Almost ordered from Kohls, but could only come up with a 20% off coupon code. This morning they are no longer available there. Bummer. Have to keep looking for a deal.

Signed up for Bed Bath Beyond email list, received 20% off in-store coupon. Picked up Pandigital Novel for $135 after coupon, plus they have a $20 mail-in rebate going. So $115, not terrible.
