Device is heavy and bulky. B&H bookstore is inferior to Amazon, only 2 of the 14 books on my Amazon wish list are available.
Now if B&H let us know that they are working on these issues, and that their would be an app to read ereader.com books for instance, I would be more likely to stick it out. As of now I'm seriously thinking about returning it.

There is no support for e-reader PDB books. This is cleary mentioned in the specifications, so you could have known this before you bought the Nook.
If you use the correct video parameters (see the specifications and the manual) video will play fine.
If webbrowsing is slow and difficult you should take a look at your Wifi connection. Because the webbrowsing speed should be fine.
If you had taken a quick look at the B&N Nook Color board you would know that Facebook is a known problem of the current Android browser, and that the mobile version of the website will work without a problem.
Of course a tablet is more heavy than a e-ink e-reader. Again, the weight is clearly mentioned in the specifications.
If you cannot find your books at the B&N store, one advantage of the Nook Color is that unlike the Kindle you can buy DRM books at almost every bookstore (except the Kindle store). You can use a search engine like Inkmesh or Addall.
