I think I'm going to get it... Best Buy has a lenient return policy during the holidays (60 days I think?) so if doesn't work out they have a pretty comprehensive collection of eReaders.

It would be nice to have 3G so he could browse the B&N store, but I guess the bright side is that the stylus becomes less necessary for typing searches.

Another question: Will my father be able to navigate the device without the stylus? That would definitely be a plus...
