You are going to have that problem with all of the e-readers. Geo Restrictions are not specific to one distributor. More likely then not you will find if a book is not available on Amazon it will not be available for B&N.

There are work arounds that are posted in topics in the Kindle forum and the Nook forum. Once you have a US address and some type of program to mask your IP address you should be able to buy from the US store easily enough.
