Ain't that the truth? I often check the Amazon reviews first before buying something for the nook, or in (gasp!) paper. I've found this to be very useful before buying PubIt books and other self-published ebooks as Amazon tends to have more reviews. The reviews are also far easier to browse at Amazon.
