I've had my Nook WiFi since August, and mostly love it! The 1.5 update was an unexpected improvement.
The husband and I are gifting a Kindle3 3G and WiFi to my parents for Christmas. (Not because I don't like my Nook, it just fits better with their needs). It's sitting right over there on the table, and I so want to check it out. I should at least register it for them and put on a few books, right?

Of course you should!! Won't it be nice for them to open it and already have books they like on it? Instant gratification, and you could go thru the process with them...
Just be prepared to help them de-register and re-register in their own account.......
