Octovo first stocked only 20 K3 lights last month and has no re-ordering information at all. (I asked them directly) Given their chronic delays in product availability I would look elsewhere if I were shopping for a light.

That doesn't bode well! Perhaps they have improved since you bought their K2 Solis light...? Their Solis for Kindle 3 page says nothing about the light not being available right now. Amazon now has them for sale -

This delivery delay is better than the 2 1/2 month wait you had, Skydog, but usually Amazon offers a deal such as one I saw today: "Get it by Tuesday, Nov 30 if you order in the next 6 hours and choose one-day shipping." It is apparent from this and from your experience that Octovo is not known for their efficient and quick shipping!
(Of course, those Amazon's shipping deals are only for the things that Amazon stocks in their warehouses, but still....)
@CyberpunkDad - did Octovo give you shipping info and if so, will you also be waiting for weeks to receive your Solis Kindle light? OK I guess if the wait is worth it - and if they also don't charge your credit card until the item is shipped.
