I always check the BB website first. They're pretty good about listing available inventory. I ordered a nook color from there a few days ago. Unfortunately it had a couple of dead pixels. The great thing about BB is that they don't hassle you much about returns. If the return policy is 30 days rather than B&N's 14 days, it might be a good idea to go with BB. I had a friend buy one from B&N yesterday and she was told by the nook guy that the NC was nonrefundable, if opened, unless it was defective. Not sure whether or not that's true but I sure wouldn't buy one from BN if there was a chance I might change my mind.
