Thumbs up Won Kindle 3g at Supercomputing 2010

This is the coolest device, as soon as I got back I Googled "Kindle 3g hacks" and landed here.

Did the jailbreak, screensaver, fonts, usbNetwork and VNC hacks. This thing runs Linux I would have bought one for for myself had I known. But free is free.

Several questions come to mind. I haven't gotten the nk term up yet, I would like to use tcc, but really do need the headers. Just started looking at Ajaxterm, but I cannot find python.

Where would I get that? Anyway having a really good time with this device.

I would like to thether the device and was looking at using something called iodine to perform dns proxy but I would need to build it locally. Which why I was looking at tcc. Someone built the nk for the arm processor, what tools would I need to build local tools?

Is there a version of "make" available?

Also I do plan to read a book or two I installed calibri on one of my Linux books and downloaded about 2500 SciFi books on to the same server.

Be hacking UNIX since the early 80's, Linux is just another name to use. I digress. Any help I can get with my outstanding issues would be great.

I am happy to be in the know.
