The "Incompatible format" message is ok. Even jetbook's SD Card file manager can only recognize book formats as valid. Everything else is "Incompatible format"
The folder is in the root of the file card? If it is you may have a corrupt filesystem card. Reformat as FAT and reload the firmware files in it.
