At the end of W.W. II MacArthur brought a man named Demming from ther USA to Japan.
He taught them that "If it ain't broke, make it better." and Demming is the reason why people buy Japanese today.
When Harley Davidson, maker of a crappy motorcycle, saw what Japan was doing to their field, they adopted Demming's work and saved the company.
