When you "load" the update, what you are trying to do is flash the JBL's
internal system memory with the firmware data. It is not the same as just
"loading" a file or folder into the internal user memory.

Included in the update file is a separate boot up routine that starts up the
JBL a little differently than it normally appears. Some people have problems
with holding the on-off button and the right arrow button in the correct
sequence. Part of the problem is that the early instructions never mention
that you should hold the right arrow until a conformation screen appears,
(with a big check mark on it). Once you press the "OK" button, to confirm
that you really want to do the update, the update will start.

If you haven't seen the conformation screen and then pressed the "OK"
button, you haven't performed the update.

Check what your current FW and Patch versions are, as Jorlando described
and let us know what they are.
