I am new to the forum. I have been reading and collecting e-books for about 8 years. For the last seven years I have had a job that would only let me read ebooks at the office. I have always used the Microsoft Reader format. because I could convert documents and other formats to the LIT format. However, since I got a Kindle for my birthday, I am in the process of converting "10,000 plus" books to the mobi/prc format. Thank goodness for Calibre, The only thing I don't like about my Kindle is the DRM limitations from Amazon. I had thought about Barnes & Nobles Nook simply because I could share the books with my brother. but the Kindle won out. I may still pick up a Nook when the Nook coloe is released.
