When the 600 came out, I thought about upgrading from my 505. However Sony took a step backwards in my opinion on the "fuzzyness" of the touchscreen in the 600. I skipped the generation continuing to happily use my 505. Now with the 650 out, all that has changed. They have VASTLY improved the quality of the touchscreen and I IMMEDIATELY upgraded and have been VERY happy with the 650.
