From a female perspective the case is almost as important as what it holds. It wouldn't seem unreasonable to me to buy a $50 case to hold a $10 item. In fact, if I could afford to do so, I woud have a whole collection of covers for my Kindle to match my clothes. I would have others to reflect the seasons and holidays. Christmas covers, yay!
