just cancel the plan and reorder. That's what I did. Amazon refunded the canceled plan a while ago. Got 3 years with Accidental damage from handling for 32.99. Not a bad deal. I wish I had done the same for my dead dr800sg.
By the way, when getting the quote I didn't choose daily edition because I got my device for $229, not $399. So I chose the touch edition instead and the contract shows sony e-reader covered for maximum worth $299.
