The 650 also seems to have finally legitimately sealed the reader up, so there is a lot less chance of dust creeping under the screen. A friend's 650 got the screen crunched, so he gave the remains to me. I've taken it apart, and, whilst still using a bunch of glue, the 650 is held together a bit more universally by said glue. It's a line of glue around the edges, etc, instead of a dot every two inches as was the case with the 600.

Basically, the 650 is built better than the 600.
