Thanks redbird. I read that and wonder... what the heck am I missing? What is it about the Nook that I don't like?

I think it comes down to that touch screen on the bottom and the page buttons on the side. The demo version already had cracks in the plastic on those buttons... which didn't inspire any confidence. And I like buttons I can press over virtual buttons.

Maybe I could learn to love it over time. But then I think, what's the point? I'm not into acquiring tastes.
