Jon - I gave you the solution in another HC thread but I'll repeat it here. Only install the basic MS Reader, not the update. Only use 32 bit IE8 to download the books. I have no problems downloading LIT books this way.

I'll continue to strip DRM for personal use as long as the publishers and bookstores use "Buy" or "Purchase" buttons.
