She told me that the brat is being expelled today and that I don't have to worry about this kid ever again. Of course, because of privacy issues she couldn't elaborate on the details of why this was happening.
Apparently, (I found this out later by another parent that was at the school after my meeting) the brat was out on the playground and decided it would be fun to grab a handful of rocks and throw it some poor unexpecting 5 year old. Well, at least one of the rocks went into the little boys eye and cut it open. They're still not sure if he'll be able to see out of it. The brat actually stood there laughing at him, while this kid was screaming at the top of his lungs! The mother of the child was at home, which is across the street from the playground, and she heard him screaming. I can't even imagine what she must have been thinking when she got there and saw the blood running down her sons face.
When I saw the father there in the office, he was trying to convince the school not to kick out his kid. I still don't think he gets it.
All I can think about is how that could've been my boy. I'm glad it's over and this sociopath is gone, but it's not how I wanted it done. I really hope this little boy that was injured will be ok.

Thanks for the follow up! I'm glad your issue has been resolved. I hope the boy (and parents) get help.
