I was at Borders today and got a chance to play with the Kobo and Kobo wifi. Both have a serious bug that I am surprised not to have read about on MR. This bug is serious enough that I would never ever recommend a Kobo reader to anyone until it's fixed.
The settings where you change the font to serif or sans-serif breaks an important ADE feature. It breaks embedded fonts. You get the default ADE serif or sans-serif font. So if you have an ePub with an embedded font like the Larsson eBooks, then you don't get the correct font.
This is a bug that never ever should have been allowed to leave the factory.
