I like my Kobo because of the ease with borrowing library books. Simple and easy to use. Quick page turns, easy to read PDFs, and easy to read in sunlight. The battery doesn't last as many days/page turns as the Kindle, but I find if I power mine down in between reading, it lasts forever...
