Dear Amazon,

Even though you are a private company (and as such can run your business any way you see fit), would you please consider shooting yourself in the foot just to please me?

P.S. I think you and all other ebook/ereader-retailers should just do away with the whole competition thinga-ma-bob, and work together as one big happy family.

P.P.S. Could you also please openly defy the Big 5 Publishers while you're at it?
