Wonderful, sounds as if everyone that needed a replacement Kindle has received or will be getting their new Kindles in time for the holidays.
It really doesn't make sense that Amazon hasn't made a good stock of new (not replacement) Kindles available for their International market. You would think the holiday season world wide would be a good money-maker for them, because obviously, in this international forum at least, the Kindle is a sought-for item not only in North America but in many other parts of the world as well. It's really a shame for those who were hoping to buy one, either as a gift or for themselves, and receive it in a week or so but don't live in the USA or Canada.
Here in the US at least, you can order one today and expect to receive it by Nov 24th (if you pay for the expedited shipping) though you are limited in the number you can purchase:

Due to strong customer demand, current quantity limit is 3 Kindle devices per customer

Amazon definitely has plenty of Kindles in stock so it's not a manufacturing/supply issue.

Edit - just read this thread -
https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=107763 - apparently there is a delay for shipping to Canada as well.

Now this lack of Kindles for everywhere but the USA makes even less sense!!
