iPad upgrade to V4 and iBooks.

I was brave enough to upgrade my iPad OS this morning. Took me about 3 attempts before it worked. The upgrade removed the iBooks app, but not the pdf and epub books I had backed up in iTunes.

I re-installed iBooks, but now it had lost the little Books/PDFs button at the top of the screen. The bookshelf desplayed only my epubs but not my pdfs.

I googled the problem and found the answer on forums.macrumor.com:
-----------------------------------
"Note that if you already have PDFs on iTunes before updating the iBooks app, I find that iTunes won't sync them. I had to remove them from iTunes and re-add them, and then iTunes will sync them to the updated iBooks app. Weird."
-----------------------------------
So, I got into iTunes/Books on my computer and deleted all the pdfs. Then I did a sync with my iPad. Then I dragged and dropped a pdf into iTunes/Books and synced again. It worked. I've got the Books/PDFs button back.

And before you all post in telling me about Goodreader or FastPDF - yes, I normally use those apps to display pdf books. I just wanted that button back.
