Contacted Amazon CS

I contacted Amazon Customer Service and they were able to access my unit directly from their site.

They are going to analyze my unit to see if a firmware upgade or a hardware replacement is necessary and will call me back in a few days.

I had mentioned to them that for 2 months with firmware 3.0.1 I had no spontaneous resets at all. However, I am now using 3.0.3 and cannot downgrade back. I had waited to upgrade to 3.0.2 until it was the final version. I upgraded to 3.0.3 while still a preview version because of the problems with 3.0.2.

It is possible they may "push" 3.0.4 to my device hopefully containing the routine from 3.0.1 which prevented all spontaneous resets. It is also possible they may replace my unit again.

This is the first time I became aware that the Kindle Development Team can access and run diagnostics directly on our units and replace the firmware if required.
