Nook seems to satisfy all your needs except it doesn't support DOC or TXT. But you can always convert. Unfortunately it also doesn't use the latest pearl screen. Sony readers also satisfy all your needs except for the app part. There's no wifi or 3G in sony 350 and 650. That means no syncing of bookmarks between your mobile phone and reader.
