The first books I read involving Faerie were Laurell K Hamilton's Mary Gentry series (which I am also over just like Anita). I didn't realize there was a standard lore similar to vampires and werewolves. The Dresden files had some similar Faerie characters and now you're introducing me to more. It's interesting to see the various flavors of the lore.

Oh, the October Daye books are completely different from the Merry Gentry books... There's actually a plot for example (ok, so the MG books may have a plot, but there's so much smut in there that it's hard to tell)
