Ritek are slow and have very short warranties. Kingston are reliable but seem slower now that they are not Made in Japan. Transcend seem pretty good and have very good feedback. Mine are pretty fast. Keep in mind, the speed will not be an issue in the reader itself as it is a pathetic 1.1 USB (who knew they were still made even as USB 3 is now more common), however, if you take out the card and add books in the computer, the increased speed is slightly better. Not really worth much unless you move a large bulk of titles a lot.
