I don't have the luxury of storing all the physical books and magazines I want to read, I've mostly lived in apartments in dense cities. Worst was in college - constantly moving from dorm to dorm and not living within driving distance of home meant I could barely keep any physical books on me.

Plus, in China, even in Hong Kong, the bookstores selling English books are relatively small, their selection is limited and prices are high because people who read English tend to be wealthier. Much better not to have to order the physical copy from the US or wherever or use a favor on a friend to get it for me and have to wait.
