I think perhaps thrillers / suspense titles are a pretty mixed audience: James Patterson comes to mind.

And then, alas, there are too many supernatural tinged / overwhelmed stories with vampires in every shadow.
I love James Patterson's Alex Cross series. I've read most of them so far.
