Amazon's Lighted Cover

I got one together with my K3. However, lately I discovered that if I'm on my right side in bed the lower hook doesn't hold the Kindle in position, it will slide enough that it will loose contact and the light shuts off. It is easy enough to push it back in, but I'm curious to know if anyone else has this problem?

Can I twist the hook so it will keep the Kindle more snugly? Or should I have it returned?
