I could list five devices if I wanted to (the four I've owned and the one I'm getting for Christmas). A Kindle 1, a Kindle DX, a Sony PRS-600, a Sony PRS-350, and a Nook Color.
The reason for so many devices is because I've yet to find one that I ended up being happy with. The K1 proved to be too bulky in a cover and the corners far too pointy outside of the cover. I no longer read on it but I keep it as a means of getting my ebooks from Amazon. The DX proved to be much too big for my tastes (I gave it to my mom). The PRS-600 has a crappy screen which I was able to tolerate at first but I finally reached a point where I could no longer stand it, I'm currently considering the possibility of using it as a loaner.
The PRS-350 was where the hunt should have ended but I do not like the touchscreen (the only way that I can get it to work consistently for anything other than page turns is to use the stylus, I hate that) and I am now convinced that nobody will ever be able to integrate a touch screen that I'd like with e-ink. I'm also done with e-ink, it's great in the sun, and when you have plenty of light indoors, but the indoor lighting at home just plain sucks, and I feel that I'm not only chained to the two places where there's enough light for decent readability, but that I have to sit in a way that allows the most light to hit the screen. I'm tired of not being able to read wherever I want and I am not about to use one of those annoying book lights.
I'll end up having two Readers listed, the 350 will be used on my lunch breaks (I read in my car as there is no way I could possibly get any reading done in the break room), and I'll be using the Nook Color at home.
