It took me time to get it was all about wifi version of reader.
The very idea of having it wireless is to avoid any kind of
desktop interface. So, I would go further with that. Why one
has to use computer anymore, if he/she could upgrade via
kobo public server?
Regarding book synchronization, more ways to sync particular
book, more ways to make trouble. If there is one db kind, all
other might catch on it. They chose sqlite. K. Use it. Add a
perl/python layer and script occasions. Why on planet Earth
versions 1.7 and 1.8b do not work the same? The basics have
to be the same, if one wants the device to be stable.
