It is a *40* year old book for Pete's sake! Why wouldn't I compare it to used??? USED and the Public Library are the principal competitors. In 10 years it is in the Public Domain in both Australia and Canada.

And if I buy it used, read it, lend it to friends and family - it STILL has residual value.
